About OSFM

The Owen Sound Farmers’ Market
is a not for profit, volunteer co-operative

Originally established in 1845, the market continues to serve the the Owen Sound community as an all seasons farmers’ market.

Conveniently located across from City Hall in downtown Owen Sound , the Market is open every Saturday morning from 7a.m. to 12:30p.m.

With a eye on ecology and sustainability, the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market promotes a local people, local products approach.  We recognize the difficulty in sourcing all products locally, and while a long term goal of 100% compliance is admirable, we are proud that today roughly 75% of our product meets the local people, local product theme.

With almost 50 regular vendors and a wide variety of products, the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market has earned a reputation for quality, consistency, and value.

More information about the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market (past, present, and future) can be found in the OSFM History Archives.

The Owen Sound Farmers’ Market is managed by Tom Pink and supported by an active Board of Directors. (click here for contact information)
